The shared software system means reports from City Police, County Sheriff, and other agencies are all accessible through one office.
Five agencies share this system: Flagstaff Police Department, Williams Police Department, NAU Police Department, METRO Task Force, and Coconino County Sheriff's Office. When you request records, staff can pull reports from any of these agencies. This saves time when you are not sure which agency responded to your incident.

Coconino County Sheriff reports cost $1 per page for the first 9 pages. Each page after that costs $0.10. This is lower than many Arizona counties. The consolidated program may have slightly different fees for other agencies.

How to Get Coconino County Police Records
Visit the consolidated records office in person for fastest service. You can also call or email your request. Provide as much detail as possible including dates, names, and case numbers if you have them. Staff can search across all five agencies in the system.
For incidents on tribal land, you may need to contact tribal police instead. The Navajo Nation and Hopi Tribe have their own law enforcement. The sheriff handles unincorporated county areas and assists smaller communities throughout Coconino County.

Arizona Public Records Access
ARS 39-121 gives the public access to police records during office hours. You do not need to state a reason for requesting Coconino County police records. The law applies to all government agencies including the sheriff's office.
Crime victims have special rights under ARS 39-127. Victims get one free copy of reports, audio, and video from their case. Identify yourself as a victim when you submit your request. Staff will verify your status before waiving fees.
Video fees are capped at $46 per hour under ARS 39-129. This covers body camera footage and other video. The digital storage fee is additional. Crime victims are exempt from both fees for their own case.
